The German Shepherd is an extraordinarily versatile dog. When bred correctly he can be molded into the kind of dog his master desires him to be, whether just a pet, obedience worker, a beautiful show dog, a guard dog, an attack-trained dog, a police dog, a guide dog for the blind, a rescue dog, a sheep or cattle herder, a member of a search- and-rescue team or just a trained companion.
It is possible to have a beautiful show dog who is highly trained naturally protective of your home, yet has a gentle character that can be trusted with children and friends. The success or failure of the individual dog depends primarily on his breeding care and training. It is important to find a breeder who believes in good nutrition, good care and clean kennels are all necessary in order to produce strong sturdy healthy puppies.
AS TO CHOOSE between American – bred or a puppy of 100% GERMAN BLOODLINES, this is a controversial subject. We prefer the German Bloodlines that have many generations of health testing and courageous working dogs behind them who are sound temperament and character and they are beautiful. Important to us we want good angulation at both ends, movement without the hackney pony movement in the front which is incorrect.
The German breeders will settle for nothing less than perfection. We want reserved but friendly german shepherd dogs.
